Services & availability
Mpesa Calculator provides fee estimation tools and related informational content for M-PESA
transactions. We are an independent tool and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored
by Safaricom PLC.
Service availability may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons. We
may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without liability. Rate data may
lag official updates and should be verified with official sources.
We do not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. Information is for guidance only.
User responsibilities
- Use the service lawfully and only for personal or internal business purposes.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, scrape, or disrupt the service or
its security, and do not probe for vulnerabilities.
- Do not submit unlawful, defamatory, or harmful content in contact forms.
- Do not misuse the service to misrepresent fees or defraud third parties.
Where you submit information about others (for example, in a support request), you confirm you
are authorized to share it and have provided necessary notices/consents.
Intellectual property
All content, design, trademarks, and code on Mpesa Calculator are owned by us or our
licensors and are protected by applicable IP laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or
create derivative works without our permission, except for fair use or as expressly allowed
by these Terms. You receive a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use

Accuracy & calculators
We strive for accurate fee estimates using available rate data, but calculators are provided
for informational purposes only. Actual transaction fees may differ based on Safaricom
rates, promotions, timing, taxes, or other factors outside our control.
Always verify critical calculations with official sources. We do not guarantee completeness,
accuracy, or timeliness. Results may vary by channel, account status, limits, or operator
changes.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any
kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability,
non-infringement, fitness for a particular purpose, or merchantability.
We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service or that defects will be corrected. Use
of the service is at your own risk. Third-party services (for example, analytics or hosting)
are subject to their own terms, and we do not control their performance.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental,
consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or
goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the service will not exceed KES 5,000 or the
amount you paid (if any) for the service in the 3 months preceding the claim, whichever is
lower. Some limitations may not apply where prohibited by law. Nothing excludes liability
where it cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and
expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service,
violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights. This extends to our
officers, directors, employees, and service providers.

The service may contain links to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for
their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their
