How This Statement Analyzer Protects Your Data

M-PESA statements contain sensitive personal and financial information. This tool is designed as a browser-side analyzer: the PDF is opened locally, parsed on the device you are using, and shown back to you as charts, categories, cash-flow totals, and transaction lists.

Privacy rule: do not upload a statement on a shared or public computer, and do not enter your M-PESA PIN, OTP, or Safaricom account password. The only password this tool may ask for is the PDF unlock code attached to the statement file itself.

What the Tool Looks For

The analyzer reads transaction rows from a Safaricom M-PESA PDF statement and groups them into useful summaries: money received, money spent, fees, net cash flow, frequent payees, likely recurring payments, daily spending patterns, and category-level totals. The goal is to help you see where money moves, not to replace bank statements, tax records, or official Safaricom support.

Results depend on the quality and format of the PDF you provide. If Safaricom changes the statement layout, a statement is scanned instead of text-based, or a transaction label is unusual, some rows may need manual review. Use the export options only after checking that the totals and categories make sense.

Best Practice Before You Analyze

  • Use a recent statement downloaded directly from an official Safaricom channel.
  • Analyze statements on your own trusted device, especially for business or loan records.
  • Review categories manually before relying on a spending report.
  • Use official Safaricom records if a dispute, reversal, tax, or legal matter depends on the data.
